How can I rename multiple audio files in a personal format?

Forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere. I searched but came up short.

Here's the deal: I have many audio files that are in all sorts of order. I'm trying to get everything organized by file name. Here's the basic format I want to put all my files into:

[Artist Name] - Album Name - Track Number - Track Title.mp3

So, as an example, I want to convert these file names assigned by iTunes

01 Nothing Left to Lose.m4a
02 Undeniable.m4a
...and so on

to this kind of format:

[Mat Kearney] - The Chicago EP - 01 - Nothing Left To Lose.m4a
[Mat Kearney] - The Chicago EP - 02 - Undeniable.m4a
...and so on

As you can imagine, this is incredibly tedious by hand. I'm looking for a program that can do all this form me. I've had zero luck as far as renaming files go; all I've found are programs that rename tags.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm not sure why you say that, but it isn't true. It works for any kind of file, not even only music files. Of course, if you want to grab the info from the ID3 tag, then you're right. For that I use Tag & Rename.
