Turning wireless router into bridge?

I currently have a wireless router/dsl modem combo I got from my phone company. I have both a wireless g router and an old wireless b router from before I had the all in one dsl modem setup. What Id like to do is turn one of those old routers into a stand alone wireless bridge so I could hook up my xbox using it. Is there as way to do it? I've fiddled around with the g router by turning off the DHCP server and making the settings the same as my all in one router, but it doesnt seem to work. Is there anything I could do or am I out of luck?

You have to find out if that router can be operated in "Bridge" mode. If not, you're out of luck. I bought 3 Zyxel P0330W routers (on sale last year at CompUSA for $20 each) that are bridgeable, and I use one as the WAP, and the other two are used in bridged mode.

Thanks for the info. I doesnt look like the G router is bridgable. Ill have to find the manuals for the B router. IIRC, it was bridgable, But Ill find out tomorrow.

If the G one is a linksys wrt54g, then you put open wrt firmware on there which should be able to make it into a bridge.
