Problem with Windows media player.

Ever since I upgraded my computer components (opteron 148, 7800gt epox motherboard) and formatted my had drive Windows Media Player hasn't worked properly. The best way I can explain it is you know how on movies they say "movie has been reformatted to fit your screen", well no movie files are fromatted to fit my screen. I see the middle of the screen zoomed in. Any Ideas?

As much as WMP has improved over the years, sureAV421 speaks the truth. MPC is my "go to" player.

I expect it is a video card driver issue or video settings issue (video overlay possibly). You may also want to check the WMP settings (zoom).
