People familiar with video editing, quick ?

Recently purchased and AMD Athlon 64 3500+ pc with 250 gig HD and a Gig of ram. Also run 2 100 gig HD's Video Card is an Xforce Geforce 6600 GS XXX.

Also purchased a Panasonic PV-GS150 camcorder. I am going to buy a firewire cable tomorrow. What else would I need to edit video on my pc and burn it to a dvd? Will my pc be able to handle the editing?

You'll just need some video editing software. Your computer is more than fast enough. As long as it has a firewire port you should be fine.

No, bought a pc because I wanted a new one. Bought the camcorder afterwards because I had been wanting one. Didn't buy one for the other.
