Wireless connection works on laptop, but not on PC. Any idea why?

So everytime I think I figure out wireless connections, they pull me back in again.

Anyhow, I have 2 PC's and a laptop. The main PC (this one) is connected directly to the router, so it's always working. The laptop can pick up the signal just fine, and always works. The other PC can see the SSID, but won't connect.

I have WPA-TKIP (I think that is what it's called) set up. When I first connected my laptop, I had to type in the network password (which was a code word I thought of, no fancy 3DfF6k password or anything) and it connected fine. I try the same with the other PC, and after a couple of minutes of the "connecting to network message, it stops and I am still not connected.

It worked fine in the beginning when I had an unsecure network. In case it helps, the wireless card in the other PC is a Netgear WG311 v2.

Now I can only assume that maybe the card isn't WPA enabled or something, so it won't work with the security. If that is the case, do I have to buy a new card or is there a patch?

I'm lost at this point.

The WG311v2 doesn't come WPA enabled (v3 does) so that's most probably the issue you're having if you are still running off the original firmware. It seems that there is a new 2.0 firmware upgrade that adds WPA support, amongst other fixes:
