"Single Point of Recovery" ?

Can someone please explain to me what exactly a "Single Point of Recovery" means as it relates to an iSeries AS/400 box talking to a Unix Box.

part of the workdload consolidation theory. single point of failure means a single point of recovery. iseries touts this because of the high reliability of the hardware. typically not recommended for mission critical processes in most shops.
