Haven't requested to change my password or anything. The only thing I can think of is someone tried to hack my account w/ a password or something. Or does Google do this to get people to switch around their passwords to prevent problems?

It's possible that it's valid. Sounds like someone went to the forgot my password link and put your email address in there by accident instead of theirs. Of course i don't know how they'd get the email if they don't know their password, but who knows with google, they're crazy.

Definitely a fake. 99.9% sure anyway. Google isn't going to send you an email and tell you to reset your password. Doesn't make any sense.

Agree. Sounds like a phishing scheme for me.
