Easy program to capture video & burn to dvd?

Got some video on my Sony camcorder that I want to capture and burn onto a DVD.

I don't need a fancy-schmany program, just something very easy and something that gives good results.

Circuity city has Pinnacle Studio DV for $24 right now...I guess Studio 10 is coming out soon. There's also a $20 upgrade rebate if you have a previous version or another qualifying product for the rebate.

This was a very good and powerful tool that wasn't too hard to learn. However, it appears that there are some stability issues with the product based on reviews.

I've never liked Pinnacle Studio although I gave up at version 8. Some things never worked right and their tech support was essentially nonexistent.

Ulead VideoStudio was much, much better and I only have the SE version.

I had on old copy of Ulead 5 laying around and I really liked it. Easy to add words/music, etc.

How much better is Ulead 9? (I think thats the newest version)
