Weird Outlook Address Book problem

When I go to Outlook and click Contacts, I only see one group of contacts. However, when I click the To... tab in an email (or do a mail merge, or anything in Office that uses the address book) I get an error saying the address book cannot be opened and it contains no contacts. I say OK and then click the Drop Down menu and there are two Contacts. One gives the error, the other contains all of my contacts. If I go to the Address Book through Outlook (Tools->Address Book) it's there, too, and gives the same error, but I can't remove it. ARGH. Any ideas?

Here's an image for those of you who are thoroughly confused. Note the one Contact list at the left and two in the drop-down menu.

Did you happen to drag a over a PST file from a previous install or upgrade? You'll get dupe contact lists that way.

Go to your folder view in Outlook, right click on Contacts>Properties>Outlook Address Book, make sure the check is in the "Show this folder as en e-mail Address Book" and rename the contact list (e.g. Shaun's Contacts) to differentiate between multiple Contact lists.

Next go to Tools and open Address Book. In there, go to Tools>Options and change all the dropdowns to point to "Shaun's Contacts" and in the bottom box, hilight and remove the old "Contacts" and you should be good to go.

I tried that, already. It won't let me delete the blank Contacts list. It gives the error message and when I click OK, the Delete button is grayed out.

And yes, I used a backup PST.
