Fitting more video on a DVD?

I知 trying to create a DVD using the program Sonic MyDVD 5, and while everything works great, it値l only let me put about 70 minutes of video. It doesn稚 seem to matter what size the original video file is, or what type it is, it always takes up the same amount of space on the final product.

Does anyone know if I知 doing something wrong or if there痴 another program that is capable of doing said desired task?

What format is your final audio in? Sounds like your using LPCM which takes up tremendous amounts of the disc. Try and see if you can convert to AC3 or MP2 audio, or lower the bitrate of the video files.

It's been a long time since I've used Sonic MyDVD. But I remember not liking it, giving up after my first try, and going with another software. Personally, I tend to recommend the Ulead products.

Forum Troll is right about the audio. LPCM Audio can take up 1GB or more. But not all DVD software will let you convert the audio.

Head over to:

Check the "How To" articles and especially the forums. That's the best place to find info on this kind of stuff.
