Laptop hard drives in a desktop?

What is the best and cheapest way to temporarily hook up a laptop hard drive to a desktop system to access the data on it?

You need a 2.5 to 3.5 hard drive adapter. Costs like $3. Any good small computer store should have one, but a big place like Best Buy and CC may not have them. Look in the yellow pages for local computer shops and call 'em up.

Or you can get one from several places online. The link X posted shows the thing, but they are out of stock. Here's some more I found with google: http://www.buyextras.com/seataad.html
