I'm trying to get rid of the "New Malware" trojan

C:\WINDOWS\msfr32.exe is infected and cannot be cleaned, deleted, or quarantined.

It can be deleted, but it's going to require you to shut down explorer. Then you can delete it because it needs Windows Explorer to work. Here's how you do it.

Open a command prompt window and leave it open. Close any other programs except for the command prompt window. Go into task manager and shutdown explorer.exe. Your screen will go blank. Go back to the command prompt and change the directory to where the file is located using DOS command CD. After you've changed the directory, type DEL filename. Then restart your computer.

OR, you can try this program. It's a program that allows you to delete files that are undeleteable under normal circumstances. I've never used it, so I can't vouch for how good it is.

If you are running Windows XP, you will need to disable System Restore. A few more details would also help.
