OK silly question...

I can't seem to watch video on WMP 10. I'm running XP and this is a newish computer so I thinking I just don't have something set right. But I can't seem to what video on it. I can hear the audio, but not see the video.

Thanks for any help....

ALL video or just some? Try a wmv or mpg file. If you're trying to watch an AVI its most likely a codec issue (try divx or xvid)

You probaly are missing the codec. Use AVICodec to determine which codecs the file has on it.

You may also want to try: QuickTime Alternative

It has alot of codecs built into it already.

You're missing the video codec for the video in question. You can try to figure out what codec the video is, then try to find that codec, or you can skip all that and simply download the VLC player: . It doesn't need codecs, everything is built in. Great player, plays most anything.
