what video editing & dvd creation software do YOU use?

vcdhelp.com ain't much help at all. I have a bunch of wmv files (slide shows created using windows movie maker) as well as a bunch of videos in my digital camcorder. I'd like to edit the videos and create a DVD. What software would be good for this? What do YOU use? Any software that is PC equivalent to Apple's Final Cut Express?

I'm looking for around a $250 solution. I've been looking at Pinnacle Studio Plus / MediaSuite version 9, and I've been hearing a LOT of complaints about how it doesn't work.

I don't edit much. Mainly something that will allow me to create DVD movies with menus using the video clips I have.

Check out a trial of Ulead VideoStudio. It handles more source formats than other "big name" products I've tried and I've been pretty happy with its functionality overall.

I use DVD-Lab Pro to burn DVD's w/ Menus.

I use DivxtoDVD to convert files into DVD format.
