How do you make a word looked like it's been crossed out on Word?

Thank you.

I usually have the icon available in my toolbar area. You can add it by doing the following:

Tools
Customize
Pick Format
Scroll on right side until you see strikethrough
Click and drag onto your toolbar

Hope this helps

I don't think that'll work in Word.

In Word 2000 (Ver 9.00, you can highlight the word to be crossed out and then go to Format>Font>at the bottom under the "effects" section, place a check in the "Strikethrough" or "Double Strikethrough" boxes and click OK.

At the next space or character that you do not want to have a strikeout, you will have to highlight and go back to the Format>Font and uncheck the Strike through option and click OK
