MP3 players

I've been looking for a decently priced MP3 player, between 512 Mb and 2 Gb of memory, that I can use while I'm at the gym. Can anyone recommend any good ones?

Ipod mini. I have one and a photo ipod. Use to be a hater, but these are the best out there, easily. I had others before, then tried these, and you can't lose.

I would just rubberband a sea shell over each ear and listen to the ocean while working out.

Creative Muvo. There are several different models and colors and they are all great players and include screens and FM radios. I don't recommend an iPod mini for the gym. Too easy to damage the harddrive while working out. I also don't recommend the iPod Shuffle, because no screen on a 1GB player is nonsense.

I second the Creative Muvo. I have a 512 Micro model I use for working out and love it. Super small and stylish, screen, mic to record, line in recording, fm playback and recoring. All of which the shuffles lack.

iPod mini, Dell DJ pocket, etc. are fine. But small capacity HD players make no sense unless you simply have a small music collection. They can skip and break if you use them to workout or run, so they don't even serve that function well.

I personally have a Dell DJ that I through all my cds on and the Muvo for my workouts.

I have a Rio Forge 512MB and highly recommend it. Expandable up to a gig with SD or MMC. Can record FM. Drag and drop capability. Stylish.

If you're wanting to use one at the gym, make sure and get a flash based player. I use an iPod Shuffle.

I ended up getting the new Samsung YP-F1X. Its a lil pricy for a 512 I guess, but you can't beat the sturdy design. Had to get some new headphones b/c the ones that come w/ it are crap. The metal belt clip built into the player is great. If it wasn't for my headphone wires, I couldn't tell it was even on my hip.

I liked the Nano Muvo b/c of price, but it had a crappy, plastic belt clip and the head phone jack was on top so it just poked me in the side all the time.

I'm looking for an mp3 player for working out also. I'd like to have AM/FM also because I'm a sports fan - Mike & The Mad Dog and the games. I don't want to carry two devices, but I can't find a good player that has all of these features.
