Question about system memory

If I have no plans on overclocking at the present time but are these good specs for memory?

I guess the real questions is CAS2.5

I hear a lot of talk about the CAS and would like to know.

2x 512MB, DDR400, 64Mx64, Non-ECC, 184 DIMM, unbuffered, CAS2.5, 32Mx8 DRAMs
Industry standard PC3200 DIMM Format
100 Percent Tested
Industry-Standard Design
Qualified by Corsair for use in desktop applications
Low-Cost, High Quality SDRAMs
Industry Standard Configurations

Here is the memory I was looking at:

Excellent ram, buy it if it meets your system specs. You will have no regrets unless you are trying to push an UBER overclock.

Look at the specs again, that ram is CAS 3

If you want CAS 2.5 at a really good price, look at this

2.5 does run faster, but you won't ever notice. Even if you had CAS 2, you still wouldn't notice in most applications. The performance gain is somewhere between 1% - 3% depending on specifics. If you want to Overclock, go for better ram or it will forever hold you back.
