Download problem - Harmony remote / Service pack !!?

Tried to cover all bases in the heading.

Using Windows XP with service pack 2 on a Dell 8100.

Bought a Harmony H659 remote, installed the software disk, registered at Harmony/Logitech, entered all my equipment information, went to (convert) download the "Harmony update application" but it keeps trying to download unsucccessfully.

I then sent to a page to download the "Connectivity.EZHex" file. It downloads but is not recognized and will not open.

I tried thus using Netscape 7.2 with no luck, then with Explorer. Explorer said it was blocking the download so I shut down the firewall. No difference.

Advice?

Thanks

When explorer says it's blocked a download, you can click the bar that appears at the top of the window telling you that it was blocked in order to download the file anyway.

Working now. In case anyone has similar problems, I talked to Harmony/Logitech tech support and, after many attempts, I volunteered to dump Service Pack !! and try again.

Some success. I could get father in the process but an error message now said I was missing a particular .dll file so I called the techs back, they emailed me a link for the dll file, downloaded it and all is well.

Moral of this story is to dump Service pack II.
