I have no idea. Can you give us some examples of discs that won't work on the PC?

I have that problem with my Hp 300i DVD burner and two (so far) of my DVD's. Both the second disk of "Led Zeppelin" and "Toy Story 2" will not read in that drive, but will read in two other pc drives, two xboxs, two standalones, and a PS2. I had the led zep set replaced and neither disk 2 would read.
I'm gonna solve it by replacing by drive. I tried to update the firmware, but hp in their infinite wisdom requires the software that came with the drive to be installed. Of course I've lost that CD and would rather pay $70 cdn for a new drive than $20 for a $1 CD.
