I have Microsoft Outlook and and iPod, how do I sync my address book?

How do I take my Contacts list in Outlook and put it on my iPod?

I know I need to convert my address book to a .vcf file, but I dont' know how to do that.

There's an export function for Outlook. Use that to create .vcf files for each contact (you can do them all at once).

I'm not seeing this.

If I go to File, then Import/Export, then Export to a file there is no option to export to a .vcf file.

1. Open the contact card in Outlook
2. Choose File>Export to vCard file
3. Choose a location where you want to save the vCard and give it a name
(or accept the default name listed)
4. Choose Save

If you want to do all of them, then select ALL contacts, then do #2 - #4 above.

You get the export to vcard option only when you open the contacts.

thanks, but I think I found a better way:

I downloaded a little utility called "outpod"

with this, I can save my entire contact list (and I can even pick and choose my contacts) as a single .vcf file.

then, i just drag it to my ipod.

You can also use iPod Agent from iPodSoft. It's a freeware program and is fantastic. You can transfer songs from your iPod back to your computer, transfer contacts to your iPod, and more. It's a great program . . . and did I mention free.
