Craig's List & RSS?

Is anyone able to use Craig's list RSS feed for Searches on their My Yahoo?

For example, say i'm looking for a condo, and I want to see every new posting, via RSS on My Yahoo, I should be able to see it using Craig's list RSS feed on the lower right hand corner of THIS LINK

However, when I add that link (not the above URL, but the actual link to the RSS xml feed) to My Yahoo, it says it's not a valid RSS feed.

I tried asking the question in the Craig's List comp forum, however, oddly no one has responded.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

I have the same problem with my Netflix Queue RSS Feed in My Yahoo, so... I'd like an answer, too.

Update - looks like Craig know of the error - didn't hear from him directly lol, but did notice there is a new "add to My Yahoo!" link right next to the RSS link on the bottom right hand side of the index pages.

However, this still does not solve my original problem of being able to RSS specific SEARCHES within Craig's list as the "add to My Yahoo!" link does not appear. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Does the new "add to My Yahoo!" link work for you? If so, you should be able to create similar links for your searches as follows.
Code:
http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?[url]
where [url]=the link for "RSS" in the lower-right

Using the link in your original post as an example, it would create the following link.

http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?url=http...max&format=rss

toq - yes, that link works for me, however, I want to use that link for saved searches... meaning, when I search for something on craig's list - ther eis an RSS link, however, nothing for "add to my yahoo" - there is only that link on the index pages... hopefully they'll implement it soon.

Right, I understand that. I was just posting a method you could use as workaround until they get around implementing it. That way, for those frequent searches that you perform, you can add them to your Yahoo RSS now, instead of later. Just a suggestion.

Toq- ah, now i understand what you were saying.. i just tried what you were saying in the post above and I get this:

We couldn't find the RSS file you asked for
http://seattle.craigslist.org/cgi-bin/search?areaID=2

Too bad... I used this URL;

http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?url=http...min&maxAsk=max

The first link in your post led me nowhere. However, using your second link, I'm guessing the following is what you're trying to add to your Yahoo RSS?

http://seattle.craigslist.org/cgi-bi...min&maxAsk=max

If so, then the link to add it to your Yahoo RSS would be

http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?url=http...max&format=rss
