My NAV quarantines a virus, now what?

Last night my Norton caught a Trojan which could not be "repaired" and quarantined it.
I checked my quarantine report and also have a couple of Beagles and Bugbears quarantined.

So do I need to do anything? Are these then still lurking and need to be removed?

Do I need to hunt for the files in regedit?

Yeah, just delete them.

The files are quarantined in case you need them for some reason. If it's not a file you need, there's no problem deleting them.

Spyware-removal applications do the same thing.

NAV has a repair function that might be able to repair the infected file. If he hasn't deleted the file from the quarantine, then he can try this.

You can also have it setup to automatically repair before being put in the quarantine.
