Would a 30 foot video cable work?

Just wondering if if there is a max length before the signal start degrading. I'd like to try using my DLP tv as a monitor when I play PC games but they aren't in the same room. I'd need about a 25 to 30 foot video cable. Is that possible?

Also, I'd have to use a cordless keyboard/mouse. What's teh range of these things? Would that be too far from the PC?

it will work, but its going to have noticeable signal degradation. Ideally you dont want to use an analog vga cable any longer than say 6 feet or so. Anything longer, or extension cables etc.... will make the quality go down noticeably.
