Weird Monitor/Display issue

I have a KDS 19" CRT that the power supply died on me last night. So I hook up my old Sony 15" to my KVM Switch and my 2 systems. One system, no issues (1024x768 32bit), the other boots and I get the Bios, and Windows XP Pro logo, then when it should display the login screen, my monitor loses it's signal. I can boot into safe mode, but all the settings are the same as above.

I have a ATI 9600pro in the system that won't display and a old Matrox G200 in the one that does display. I tried hooking the monitor directly to the cpu and that didn't help.

Any ideas?

Well, I got it to display, by Enable VGA Mode, then changing the display settings. It gave me a ATI warning screen when I got in, but it seems to be working ok...

Refresh rate. The old Sony probably can't handle anything above 70Hz. Go into Settings, Advanced, Monitor and change the Screen Refresh Rate to something lower.
