Manual cookie management using IE questions

Probably should have learned about this long ago but..

I made a list of cookies to always allow, like dvdtalk.com for example, and then set the privacy to high but that still allows atleast some tracking cookies in it appears. Is there anyway to have it block everything that doesn't appear on my allow list? If I set it to block all that overrides even the ones I specified to allow.

Also, is there a way I can backup my custom allow/block cookie list so if I spend the time listing a bunch that I can restore it at will?

I use Firstnetsoft's (http://www.firstnetsoft.com/index.html) Smart Popup Killer for not only popup blocking but more importantly for cookie management. It does a nice job of keeping a listing of cookies and then letting the user select which ones to always keep or allow and deleting the rest upon exiting IE. It costs $20 but it was worth it to have this functionality as its been working really well.

I use IE's security tab. I allow cookies for "trusted" sites but not for the "Internet." A lot of other settings are also customized for these two categories, pretty tight controls on the general Internet. Most of the "trusted" sites are places I order from and they all use cookies to manage "cart." If you don't "trust" them, you can't buy from them.

Bottom line, I only have to manage the list of trusted sites.

Thank you kindly.

In case anyone else finds this useful, I stumbled upon the registry location of ones allow/block cookie list in order to backup.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\P3P\History]
