Replacing Video card

Hey Guys, first off, thanks for all the help with my previous posts concerning replacing my video card. Now here's another question. The graphics card on my Compaq Presario is an intel one that's part of the chipset on the mother board. Is there anyway of turning it off, replacing, removing, and installing a radeon or nvidia card?

If it's an integrated video card, it'll either turn itself off when you plug in a 2nd video card, or you'll have to turn it off from the BIOS upon system boot. You'll also need to remove it from device manager in windows and delete its driver from add/remove programs.
