Windows Picture & Fax Viewer .exe location in XP?

I'm trying to set this as a default program for one of my graphics filetypes and I can't find the .exe location for it anywhere. I tried Google and Microsoft to no avail. Does anyone know where it is located or if it is even an executable file?

You might need to re-register your image viewing dll.

do this from a command prompt:

regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll

The actual application doesn't exist, it's a subset of rundll32.exe. If re-registering the dll doesn't help, try this as a commandset

rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1

good luck.

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling the exe may not exist since I couldn't see a path in the shortcut properties.
