Do I need a voltage converter for my laptop?

I have a Dell Inspiron 8200. I heard it will automatically convert the voltage to operate correctly in Ireland (where I will be studying for the fall) and all I need is an adapter for the correct plugs. Is this correct?

Also, I picked up another voltage converter for other things (camera battery charger, cell phone charger, etc) and there were no 3 pronged adapters. The power source for my laptop is 3 pronged. Where can I find an adapter that will work?

I think all Dell Laptops have been supplied with 110v to 230 v power adapters. So it will basically work in all coun tries in the world. The only problem might be the connecting power cable only.Which I think you can get it there at a fraction of a cost!
