Does anyone use IncrediMail? Any ideas how to export to another email program?

Hi All,

My parents use IncrediMail for their email. It's a POP3 client email program that will basically download their messages from hotmail so they can 1) save their important messages locally, and 2) have these friffly smily faces and animations that they like but no one cares about.

I cannot send any email from their accounts with incredimail. I try to edit the account settings and the program crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times, downloaded new updates, and did a ton of research on their website to see if there is any tips how to fix this.

Since I have come to the conclusion this will not be able to be fixed, (if someone does have a fix, please do tell), i have been looking at trying to import all of their email into outlook express. Incredimail exports the email data in a .cab file. Outlook express does not have an option to import .cab files. Is there another way to do this?

I have also tried outlook 2002, however, it's integration with hotmail is rather weak. Plus, i couldn't find a way to import the .cab file.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know, thank you!

There is a link for IncrediConvert that needs to be downloaded. Follow the instructions from the http://tinyurl.com/ys8pa.

here is the direct link http://clk.about.com/?zi=1/XL&sdn=em...ediConvert.zip

Advise on if it performed the export/import properly
