Radeon 9800 noise problem

I just bought a Radeon 9800 Pro from Best Buy. I installed it myself, and while it is working, there's a constant and rather loud noise now.

Is this normal? If it is, is there a way to subdue it a bit? And if it isn't normal---what could be the culprit? Thanks for any help. It's driving me nuts.

what kind of noise? whining? rattling? card-flipping type noise?

open your case back up and check to make sure that no cables are touching any fans, otherwise you end up like a baseball card stuck in a bicycle wheel

Yeah, this was it. I figured it out before I could check back here, but thanks for the help, regardless.

Just curious, what was causing the noise?
