Another Adobe Acrobat Question: Touchup Text Tool?

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Standard 6.0.

I don't have the Touchup Text tool on the Advanced Editing toolbar, which is where the help says it should be, or anywhere else.

All I need to do is delete one word from this PDF.

Using Acrobat seriously makes me want to never touch a computer again.

I googled the subject and began to think I need the Professional addition. But the more I read, the more I believe I should be able to do this with the version I have.

Any help?

I only have Professional, but I definitely have a Touchup Text tool. You might look in the Tools menu, there should be a Touchup Text submenu with a number of options.

Is there any security on the document?

I can't find anything to convince me that Standard shouldn't have the Touchup Text tool.

Not in the menu anywhere, and it's not a document security setting. The doc is wide open.

All the greyed out stuff is active when I have a document open. Didn't want to show what I'm working on.

I solved the problem by uninstalling, and installing from the CD of a co-worker whose version I checked to make sure it had the Touchup Text button.
