Opinions on Linksys WUSB12 or WUSB54GP?

Anyone here have any experience with either of these WiFi USB adapters? I did a search but didn't see anything here.

I'm using a BEFW11S4 for my wireless router.

Got a 98 machine hardwired, another work laptop that is running 2000 with an embedded wireless (HP WLAN 802.11a/b/g W500), an Xbox using the Microsoft Xbox wireless adapter and am adding another laptop running XP. The XP machine has a hardwired connection to the BEFW11S4 now, but I'm looking to make it mobile. Also not interested in PCMCIA card as I would like to use the USB adapter on various other systems as needed.

Was thinking I should stay with Linksys as I've had good luck with their stuff. I've seen this one from Dlink fairly cheap after rebate,

but have heard various bad reports on their products in general.

Thanks in advance for any information.

I have the WUSB12 and I love it. It's small enough to fit in your pocket. Right now I'm using it on my Tivo.

I've read alot of good reviews from people using it on a Tivo. Not that it should matter much, but have you used it on a PC at all?

Thanks

Not on a PC yet. But I wouldn't expect any problems. I've used a number of Linksys products, and never had any problems.

If you're looking for something totally portable, I think this thing is perfect. It will easily fit in your pocket. It also comes with a 2 foot extension cord, so you can position it for optimal reception.

If you're not looking for something that's conveniently portable, you might want to go with the other one. That one's faster and looks like it has a nice little stand. But it doesn't seem like something you'd put in your pocket.
