Help expunging unwanted program

I downloaded a program the other day, and in the process ended up with a bunch of additional shit that I don't want. I was able to delete almost everything, except one. When I try to erase the program I get this familiar message: "Cannot delete MYSRCHAS.DLL: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use".

What can I do to eradicate the trash?

Appears to be part of MySearch toolbar which would probably go into Explorer. Make sure it is not running anywhere (toolbar, etc.) and try removing then.

I have found a 30 day trial of RegVac has been great and easy for removing any number of items on the computer. It may ease the removal of this file.

It didn't work. It removed a slew of files it deemed bad, but the damned "MyWay" file is still there under Programs and refuses to be dumped.

Finally trashed the tricky barnacle. I took another look in the "add or remove programs" utility and found some related files that had previously escaped my detection.
