Norton AV 2004 good for free?

I see Circuit City has it free after two rebates. Many have said this year it is a real pig. Is this worth getting for free or is it just not worth the hassle?

If you can get a copy of it for free go for it. I had it and went back to 2003.

I went back to NAV 2003 because 2004 is a memory hog. Never had a problem w/ 2003.
