Keyboard drivers disable upon reboot

Anyone hear of this one? My PS2 keyboard driver intermittently fails to work upon reboot. The keyboard works fine - it's an IBM with no fancy extra buttons or anything. It works fine for entering the bios password and all that, but once windows starts - dead. I have to go into the DM and uninstall the drivers and refresh and all is well. It's just kinda annoying.

No - I haven't tried a diferent keyboard yet. What else? Ideas?

It can mean firmware or just old drivers. The Drivers being found and then lost. Try the website for the computer and see if there are any updates for that area. **** that seems a little vague. Never done it for a keyboard though.

the keyboard is a feature-less IBM and the drivers are generic MS drivers. I built the computer, so there aren't any updates. I've flashed the bios of the mobo already.
