Is my monitor finished?

I was going through some cds to see what were on them and all of a sudden, my screen went to an off green yellow.

I fiddled with the monitor settings and also with the ATI settings but from what I can see, the monitor no longer detect blue at all and is no RGnoB. I say this because you know where you have the line and you can modify the colors, if I move red and green, it goes really red and really green but the blue line has no life.

Any way to fix this? Is it costly if I attempt to have it fixed or am I better off just buying a new monitor?

check the video cable, make sure none of the pins are bent, or wires cut. If there is no problems with the cable itself, I would suspect the monitor has bit the dust. Try another good working monitor on the system first though, to be sure its not the video card. That should guide you safely to a good fix.
