Perl compiler for .NET?

It isn't clear what you are asking for here. It seems as though you are asking for a compiler for Perl. There isn't one. Perl isn't a compiled language. It is a scripting language.

Alternatively, are you asking whether there is a .NET compiler written in Perl? If so, for what .NET supported language? C#? Doesn't really matter, as I doubt there is such a thing.

I'm looking for a compiler that will compile Perl into the Intermediate language so I can use Perl with .NET. I guess it would be a CIL compiler for the Perl language.

I know ActiveState(or whatever they are called) has something but from what I read, it just puts a wrapper around the Perl code and the end result is unmanaged code.

I would like to find something that produces managed code.
