Other options for kazaa

I am in need of a different file sharing system similar to kazaa. Could anyone help me with a quality program that does not have spyware

Hmmm...not sure if we can talk about that here.

But just assuming we can, have you tried Bit Torrent? I believe there were some threads on it recently.

Bit torrent. And if you have a good group of friends, private ftp's are the best.

If you're really happy with kazaa (other than the spyware, etc) then try kazaa lite.

Otherwise, I also recommend soulseek.

My sister told me about Limewire...I said "No thanks" and sure enough within the past month her system has been under assult by ads and other BS ever since she first installed it. I would NOT recommend this. Since then I've had to redo her Windows install for her and told her to watch the crap she downloads.....*Sigh* women

Are the others that good? I assumed K-Lite was the best since it had the most users - more selection?

Lighten up, I used that smiley for a reason.... and besides how many MEN do you know that install spyware progs that change the mouse pointer into rainbows and make flowers trail from it? This is the kind of crap she had in her system.

NOW speaking as a man, there was that Winamp addon with the dancing girl that was spyware....I plead the fifth.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand...I'd have to go with Kazaa Lite.
