Emails and invitations sent to Hotmail from Gmail accounts do not bounce, but nor do they arrive in the recipient's Inbox - they vanish mysteriously into the aether. Joel Johnson writes in his Gizmodo weblog that invitations he sent to a Hotmail address bounced (this even received coverage from ZDNet). Search Engine Roundtable writes that several ISPs are blocking Gmail. It's already well-documented that Yahoo moves Gmail invites into the Bulk Mail folder. I've personally confirmed the Hotmail and Yahoo blocking." Please note: I've not been able to verify this one way or another.

Two invites to give out
First one to the person who can tell me what color my hair is.
Second to the person who can tell me the name of their favorite congressman. Answer away and you've got a gmail invite.
Be sure to post your email address, so I can send it to you.

I'll send an invite to the first person who can tell me who Thomas Merton was and where he died.
A second invite will go to the first person to tell me who Dorothy Day was and what work she did.

Just a quick update on the login woes: I can log in now. Did not change anything; was just a matter of time. What Google did in that time, I don't know. Have not heard back from Gmail Help. Still no invites available in that account either.

Also, did you know either of them or google them? (just out of curiousity)

Alrighty yalls, I've got 4 invites. I know there's a list somewhere up above but i have no logical/fair way of picking out who to send out to so first 4 addresses i see below this post will get them. (guess the advantage goes to the night owlers).
[oh, and my only gmail related activities were - 1 welcome email from google, 2 emails sent to my yahoo account, and 3 emails received from my yahoo account. So i'm not sure there's a pattern to receiving invites...just yet]
