cataloging software advice needed

firstly i am running mac os 10.3 on a dual 1.8 G5. when i lost my hard drive a couple of weeks ago i lost all of the cataloged files i had that contained all of my dvds, cds, books, etc that i had made for insurance purposes. i found this site...

the software sounds pretty good and by itself is only $15. if i get the scanner with it to input the ISBN #'s then the price jumps up to $180, which is more than i want to pay. i know that i could go to like radio shack and buy a bar code scanner like that for much cheaper but does anyone know of any software that will do this for cheaper?

Well it looks like this software works with the Cuecat scanners you can find on eBay that use a PS2 port.

The cuecat works wonders for me, but I'm on a PC - never tried with a mac.
