No options in "Display Properties" / Settings

Hello. I just cleared an older Dell laptop hard drive and reinstalled windows 98 and in the setting of display properties all that are available are 16 colors and 640x480 pixels. Are there drivers i need to download? Any suggestions/locations? Thanks again!

You need to get the video drivers for your laptop.

Just a guess, but how about getting them from... Dell?

You may need to register there so you can login and give your service tag or serial number of the laptop. Then the drivers will be accessible.

Without you being more specific about your laptop, there's nothing we can do

Type in your service tag, and all your software and drivers will be available for download.
