You're missing a ">" before your < /a>'s in all three links (to close off the image tags)

Re: HTML question (what do I have wrong?)

Here is the code that I wrote

Here is a few links to some of the web sites that I visit most often

  • click to go to dvdtalk

  • click to go to animeondvd

  • click to go to anandtech

When it comes to dvd's, I have the largest collection of anyone that I personally know. I started collecting DVDs

back in early 1999 when many people had still not heard of the format known as DVD. If you want to view my collection,

try it now

what is it that I have wrong? I have tried everything that I can think of to get this to stop linking that last part that starts after .

Help Please!!!!

I think your problem is here:

<li><a href="Http://www.dvdtalk.com" target="_blank"><img src="dvdtalk.bmp" alt="click to go to dvdtalk"></a>
<li><a href="Http://www.animeondvd.com" target="_blank"><img src="animeondvd.jpg" alt="click to go to animeondvd"></a>
<li><a href="Http://www.andantech.com" target="_blank"><img src="anandtech.bmp" alt="click to go to anandtech"></a>

There is no end closing bracket on your image declaration (right before the </a>

you can post your code by using the code tags:
[ code ] [ / code ]

without the spaces. Easier for everyone that way.

I tried doing this in another post I made last week. However, it still didn't show the code. It just rendered the HTML. Am I missing something here? Here's an example:
This text should display with the bold tags around it but instead, it's rendered as bold text
