Questions about manual Router setups(Linksys)

Will list everything first, questions at the bottom.
My intent is trying to get my Playstation 2 to have the same IP address from the router, no matter which system turns on first, so I can keep the PS2 in the DMZ instead of another computer.

Router: LinkSys BEFSR41v3

2 computers

1 Playstation 2

What I have done so far that seems to be working:

Disabled DHCP server in Router, setup,Network Setup,Network Address Server Settings(DHCP)

Configured PS2 to point to specific router assigned ip,router subnet mask, routers IP

Computer 1: Control Panel,Network, TCP/IP Ethernet Adapter
Properties Tab,IP Address,Changed from Obtain an IP addy automatically to specify an IP addy. Pointed IP addy to router specific IP,Router Subnet Mask.

DNS Configuration Tab: Added computer host name, added IP DNS Servers

Gateway Tab:Added Routers IP Addy

Computer 2: Same as 1 except different router assigned IP Addy.

My question is this, Is it set up right? I want each of them to keep the same IP no matter which one gets turned on first. It was orginally setup to get all the info automatically. I changed it because I was concerned about Computer 2 getting assigned the DMZ Host IP which wouldn't be a good thing, I have the DMZ Host for my PS2. First time messing with this manually so I'm not sure if it's correct. Everything seems to be working but is it all correct heh. Sorry if this is unclear, it's the best way for me to describe everything.

You could turn back on dhcp and just give the ps2 a static ip.
