Help with pictures problem (file related?)

Hello,

OK here is my problem:

I get sent a few pictures by email and when I open up the picture, it's fine. What happens next is I click on the arrow to open up the next picture. Instead what I get is random pictures that look like they are from the internet. Some of these I recognize from sites I've visited, others I don't.

For example it seems as though if I was on a site like amazon, I now have every tiny and full picture from every page I've been on. Even click buttons and seach tabs appear.

Anyone here know how I can erase these and even better, stop them from coming back?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you're viewing files that are in the temporary internet files folder.

To empty them, open Internet Explorer, click TOOLS -> Internet Options. In the middle section for Temporary Internet Files, click DELETE FILES.

Thanks.

Unfortunately I've already done that. I've also gone in through the internet folder and deleted some files there. Still, not fixed.

Try the firebird or mozilla browser from mozilla.org and see if the same thing occurs. Also, scan your system for bugs w/ spybot AND ad-aware.

BTW, when you say some files, are you implying keeping cookies?

He wanted you to download another E-mail program ( www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird )

What you should try doing is saving the images from the e-mail to your hard drive (desktop, wherever) and then opening them there.
