Real Player Alternative?

I despise Real Player, but for some reason, I have to use it for one of my classes to listen to music. Are there any freeware alternatives that won't clutter my system up with crap?

Here's mine: could never get it to install or work properly and ended up going back to the evil that is Real.

I use Media Player Classic with great success. I'm listening to my local NPR station streaming right now.

My personal favorite is ZoomPlayer. I use it for everything from Real to Windows Media to Quicktime.

Same here. I use MPC for replacing both RealPlayer and Quicktime, and I've only encountered glitch when I play pr0n with unusual codecs.

I use the Linux version of Real Player. I don't think it is as invasive as the Windows version.

I'm pretty sure that's the same "Real Alternative" linked in the first reply. It's all over the place - I actually just installed it on my dad's computer today...works great - even with streaming media (MLB.tv).

Media Player Classic with Real Alternative and Quicktime Alternative has been working great for me, except it crashes when I close a file, especially after going to full screen and back. I think the crashing problem is more due to my old install of Windows than anything else.

The same is also true of the Mac version of Real Player.

I use Media Player Classic with Real Alternative and Quicktime Alternative, too. Works fine for me.
