What can I open it with?

Probably notepad. It's a report file.

I tried Notepad, MSWord, Excel, SimpleText... no dice.

Nevermind.. I used Crystal Reports from PeopleSoft. Something I only use here at work for A/P invoices.

Who the heck has that in their home computer?

It's bundled into Microsoft Visual Studio, so lots of people have it.
