"My Pictures" screensaver?

Hey- can someone send me a link to a screensaver that will use my pictures that are in a certain folder? I had one when I had windows ME, but now that I have 2000 I need one. Thanks!

Hmmm, shouldn't 2000 have that too?

I know XP has it under(right click on desktop) Display properties/screensaver tab/ my picture slideshow.

I can't use it becaue I can't have naked women flying across the screen.

I have Windows '98 at home, and I would LOVE to have this screensaver. I have it at work (work has Win'XP, natch), and I saved My Pictures on a disc, but my home computer doesn't have the My Pictures Slideshow option in Control Panel.

FYI - I tried to install XP on my computer, but it doesn't go through - - the memory in my computer must be very limited.

Any option for me, other than getting a computer upgrade (chip-wise)?

You've got a couple of options.

- Try to locate the "My Pictures Slideshow.scr" file on the Windows XP machine, usually in the C:\WINDOWS folder or C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder. Copy the file to the C:\WINDOWS folder on the Windows 98 machine and (hopefully, since I haven't tried it myself) you should now have that screensaver option.

- Download any of the available free third-party screensaver options out there, such as MyAlbum, ScreenSaver Works (link on the left side), or gPhotoShow.

Hope that helps.

In doing a search, the computer can't find that file at all. Is there another way?

My mistake. Try looking for a file called "ssmypics.scr" and see if you're any more successful.
