windowsupdate.microsoft.com not working for anyone else?

I get this in the right side frame
Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page. The Windows Update servers are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.

If you continue to see this error, send us your feedback.
this happened a few days ago and I hadn't been back until tonight and got the same thing.
Is it something with Windows/IE on my computer or is the site messed up for everyone?
I have win98se

thanks, that probably explains it.
I'm pretty sure I currently have all the updates but I was going to check to make sure. Good thing I spent some time a while ago getting the full download exe versions of as many updates as I could

I had this problem the other day. it turns out, that i had the incorrect date on my computer. i had it set to january 2003 instead of 2004. when that happens, the security certificates get all out of whack and it's unable to run the update checks on windowsupdate. so check your date & time

You may want to clear your cookies and delete offline files. This was my problem a few weeks ago.
