From PVPonline.com today:

Back story: While trying to be romantic with a candlelit dinner for his girlfriend, Brent set Jade's apartment on fire. So she's living with him until its repaired.

... I feel the same way!

I think it's backwards. It should be the girl with a frilly lace-covered iBook, and the dude throws it out, providing her instead with a machine running linux and openoffice.

Agreed. Women I know are particular suckers for those oh-so-cute iMacs and iBooks. Then they tend to despair with the rapid aging of the software and hardware.

Also note Brent's ponytail, john lennon glasses, and his very name "Brent". And see how he prissily holds the Windows laptop like it's filthy as he prances out to the porch. Nancy-boy has a general lack of masculinity.

[wondering] Do metrosexuals prefer Macs?

You all have it backwards. It is a powerbook, the sleek titanium machine in all its 17" of widescreen glory.

The iBooks are the colorful pieces of eye candy for women.

Casual users love Macs. Only one mouse button. Mac even had a whole ad campaign aimed at stupid people (the "Switch" ads).

The iBooks are white...

Anyway, I own both a G5 Mac, an iBook, and a PC. The PC is still used for games, but the Mac is much more fun to use. OSX destroys XP.

Oh, and I'm certainly not a casual user.

The new ones. The old toilet seat ones came in all kinds of fruity flavors.

Yeah, except that guys who run linux and openoffice don't have girlfriends.

Seriously, though, as a PC user, I have to say that Powerbooks rock. I can only dream that one day Dell or Compaq (HP, sigh), or maybe Toshiba will one day produce a laptop as nice as a Powerbook.

I have a glorious beard, which some claim is even worthy of an epic song.

But then again, I'm just not a Mac person.
