Why can't I send fonts as an attachment?

I never had a problem doing this in Windows98. I have Windows XP now, and needed to attach a couple of fonts in an email message and I couldn't.

Is there any reason for this, or am I doing something wrong?

Have you tried zipping them up to see if that works? Personally, I've never tried sending fonts in XP, so I'm unsure if there is a "feature" that prevents you from doing this.

If you're trying to attach them directly from WINDOWS/FONTS you might get errors, what you should do is copy the fonts to a different folder and then emaling them as attachments. You shouldn't have any problems doing it that way.

Hope that helps.
